My new website tech.e2sn.com and a new application
In early January I wrote that I’m gonna start organizing the more serious and practical Oracle content into my new website and I’ll leave my blog for Oracle hacks, my (IT) observations and philosophy, general thoughts and just fun.
It’s time to publish the newsite now with an application demo rototype which gives some clue of what kind of features will there be in the secret project I’ve been working on for several months with my friend and business partner.

E2SN does have a meaning, but I’ll leave it a secret for now ( you are free to guess ;-)
So, there’s not much technical content at the site yet, but there’s a cool online app which you should check if you deal with SQL tuning and execution plan analysis much.

Oh, I’ve also created something called a “Living Book” into my website, where I will write about Oracle, performance, troubleshooting, etc. There is also a place where people can request what I should write about there!

Wow, PlanViz will ease my work a lot. Especially the ability to colour the visualisation by Rows or Time is a great help. Thank you!

Yeah, working on the RSS things! Google sites isn’t too good in that area but I have couple of solutions…

Hmm… can you see videos from youtube.com? Perhaps youtube is blocked in your site, that’s why the blank videos?

Tech.e2sn got many fans till yet including me but i feel it lacks a better GUI and arranging docs properly.
I request please do not take this feedback in a negitive way. I appreciate your comments on this.

Hi Balakrishna. As I’ve said on the front page, everything is still in draft mode there.
I know about the organization of docs – the sitemap helps there and I may add some table with list of articles, organized by topics.
About the GUI, so give me an example what should be better? I think the google sites layout is very good, better than most of the blog formats out there.

I have seen lots of templates available in google to design a layout . Any new updates in the site , if you highlight this some where in your homepage itself with some indication. I guess this would be even more better.
